Yes. After INVIcrypt, the resulting file opens as a completely blank document in its native viewer - a blank Word doc, an empty PDF, a silent MP3. There is no padlock icon, no "encrypted" badge, no header saying "this file is locked." Your original data is mathematically sealed by the INVIcrypt engine and hidden behind INVIdata's patented invisible-partition technology - so that even forensic tools can't tell anything is in there.

Yes - the Free Trial is a public beta release of INVIlayer with all supported formats fully unlocked, no credit card and no sign-up required. Any file you INVIcrypt during the trial stays decryptable forever using the same password and the installed INVIlayer binary. We will never hold your data hostage. Once we exit beta, paid licences will be introduced for new INVIcrypt operations, but files you've already protected will always remain accessible through INVIdecrypt.

INVIlayer is built on the INVIcrypt engine - INVIdata's proprietary, internationally patented invisible-protection technology. Unlike conventional encryption tools that simply lock a file (and visibly announce it's locked), the INVIcrypt engine combines high-strength data sealing with our patented Zerobyte Self-Defence mechanism and Invisible User Partition (IUP) architecture. The result: a protected file that opens as an ordinary blank document - no padlock, no flag, no trace - while remaining mathematically inaccessible without the correct password.

No. INVIlayer has no backdoor, no master key, no recovery service. If you lose your password, INVIdecrypt will never work on that file again. This is by design - it's what makes the protection real. Use a password manager and store a hint somewhere safe.

Yes - 100%. INVIlayer does not connect to any server, does not send telemetry, does not require an internet connection for INVIcrypt or INVIdecrypt. Your data never leaves your machine.
